Hopeful that someone else can fill in the gaps in this story…

They were taping the Mr. Rogers show in Ligonier, and well, Mr. Rogers needed to go to the bathroom. He asked the local kids who were around if anyone lived nearby and if he could use their facilities. He ended up using the restroom at 317 Washington. There is a story about my Great Grandfather looking upset when Mr. Rogers was speaking to him, but really, it was due to a stroke that he recently had. ‘What did I say?’ or ‘I didn’t mean to upset him’ was said by a worried Fred Rogers, but he was quickly told about the stroke. This story lived on forever!
